Jess Fry

Jess is a Lawyer in our Future Planning Team.

Biography

I have a wealth of experience from working in the legal industry since 2012 in a variety of roles.

I initially worked as a receptionist before progressing to a paralegal and then law clerk, all predominantly in the family law sector. I graduated from Central Queensland University in November 2022 and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in March 2023.

Since February 2024, I have worked as an Estates Solicitor within the Murdoch Lawyers’ Future Planning team, based in Toowoomba. I assist executors and administrators in all stages of the administration of a deceased estate, ensuring the process is as efficient and smooth as possible. My desire is always to unburden executors and administrators during what is a difficult time.

Outside of work, I have served as a Director of South West Queensland Thunder Football Club since December 2022, leading their Media Operations and Corporate/Legal Governance, and assisting in developing their female football program. I’m also a longstanding member of the club’s Senior Women’s team, where I compete in the Football Queensland Premier League 1.
