Hayden is a Junior Lawyer at Murdoch Lawyers' Property Law team.

Biography

To me, law is a way to positively impact the lives of others and contribute meaningfully to the community. Whether it's guiding clients through buying or selling commercial or rural land, offering advice, or assisting them with leasing or development processes, I find it very fulfilling to assist people in navigating their property law matters.

I started studying a business degree but wasn’t fully content with it. In 2017, I decided to pursue a law degree at the University of Southern Queensland. Quickly, I realised that law was the challenge I was looking for. In 2019, I joined Murdochs as part of the admin team, where I developed an interest in property law. I moved into the Residential Property team before moving into the Commercial Property team where I’ve had the chance to work on a wide range of matters, including land purchases and sales, land development, rural transactions, leasing, and Conduct & Compensation Agreement matters. In August 2024 I was admitted as a lawyer and since then I have been steadily developing as a young lawyer.

Outside the office I have a wide range of interests that keep me busy. I’m avid fan of cricket, rugby union and basketball. I love spending time at either the beach or hitting the mountain bike trails with my mates. I dabble in some baking, though I am known to burn the chocolate from time to time, so if you have any tips, I would love to hear them.
