Erin Gorrel

Erin is a Junior Lawyer at Murdoch Lawyers Brisbane Family Law team.

Biography

I first joined the Murdoch’s team in 2022 as an Administrative Assistant, and then moved into the Family Law team as a Paralegal in July 2023. My time spent as a paralegal reinforced my desire to work in the area of Family Law, and continued in this role whilst I undertook my practical legal training course.

I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. I graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 2022 and was admitted into practice in 2024.

I have experience in various aspects of Family Law including parenting, property, child support, domestic/family violence matters and divorce. I enjoy practicing as a family lawyer because of the connection with other areas of law, and I am passionate about working closely with my client to resolve their matters in a cost effective and timely way.

On a personal note, my favourite food would have to be Italian and I love a good holiday at the beach –Mooloolaba is my favourite place to visit.
